Brush Your Teeth In 6 Seconds With The 3D Printed Toothbrush!!!

If you had a choice between spending 2 minutes or 6 seconds brushing your teeth, you would probably go with the faster method. The Blizzident custom 3D-printed toothbrush is a bizarre-looking toothbrush alternative that promises a 6-second scrub of your pearly whites.
Blizzident
The Blizzident custom 3D printed toothbrush looks a little strange but promises to clean your teeth in just 6 seconds. So what would you choose, 3 minutes or 6 seconds?
It is actually custom-made and involves you having a 3D scan or impression of your teeth. If your dentist takes an impression, then it needs to be scanned into a 3D file. This is then sent to Blizzident, which 3D prints your own unique toothbrush.
You place the 3D printed toothbrush into your mouth and make biting and chewing motions. Lots of soft bristles are angled so as to thoroughly clean teeth and gums. The way the bristles are angled and the fact that it is a perfect fit for your mouth, mean it is able to clean properly but more efficiently.
The downside to this is cost. Whereas you can pick up a normal toothbrush very cheaply, the Blizzident’s more complex manufacturing process means it costs you $299. It is recommended that after one year you replace the custom toothbrush, which then costs another $159. Plus don’t forget you need to pay for that 3D scan. Rather alot of money for keeping your teeth white, especially when the same result can be achieved with a cheaper alternative.
Blizzident has promised to share clinical studies on the efficiency of the product, which will certainly be interesting. But as for me, I’ll be using to my good old fashioned toothbrush, for 3 minutes twice a day of course!

Apple releases New IMac with Iris Pro.

Following the release of the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, Apple has given its iMac a small revamp. The new release brings Haswell cores from Intel, new NVIDIA Corp. GPUs, improved Fusion drives and more ports.
Last October Apple made major changes to the iMac line, which included a new 5-mm thick aluminum frame. This time round the changes are more subtle but nonetheless contribute to making Apple’s all-in-one (AIO) personal computer a serious contender in the bid for the best value in the market.
iMac
Currently Lenovo dominate the AIO PC market after over-taking Apple. So what does the new iMac have to offer? Well the revamped model comes with  8 GB (upgradable two 32 GB for 27-inch, 16 GB for 21.5-inch) of 1600 MHz DDR3 and a 1 terabyte “Fusion” drive, a mostly hard disk hybrid drive with an undisclosed amount of NAND flash onboard (upgradable to 3 TB traditional HDD, a 256 GB SSD, or a 512 GB SSD).
Apple’s AIO PC comes with a wireless “Magic Mouse” and wireless keyboard. It also has 802.11ac Wi-Fi and the following ports:
  •     SDXC card slot
  •     Four USB 3 ports (compatible with USB 2)
  •     Two Thunderbolt ports
  •     Mini DisplayPort output with support for DVI, VGA and dual-link DVI (adapters sold separately)
  •     10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45 connector)
  •     Kensington lock slot
The 21.5-inch model of the iMac, which costs $1,299 comes with the on-die Iris Pro GPU inside the Intel Haswell 2.7 GHz quad-core Core i5- 4570R processor.
Apple claims that it has been able to significantly improve the hardware and firmware of its proprietary Fusion drives, thus making performance 50 percent faster than the previous generation.

Compared to the competition, Apple has priced the new iMacs rather aggressively. Even those who want a Windows 8 AIO can now consider a new iMac via Boot Camp, which supports Windows 8.

Smartphones screen protector shield 5X stronger than Gorilla Glass!!!

Move Over Gorilla, Rhino Shield Is Here To Save The Mobile Screen

Gorilla glass is used for smart devices in order to help users keep their beloved device safe from scratches and cracks. Only there are people all over the world who are having to order a new screen for their iPhone after they dropped it, so we can safely assume that the Gorilla glass is not infallible. Now though, Evolutive Labs, a company born from Cambridge University, have successfully funded and developed the Rhino Shield screen protector, which according to the team at EL, will leave the Gorilla well and truly in the mist.

Impressive Functionality
The rhino Shield is supposedly able to withstand 5 times the impact that Gorilla 2 glass can. Some people even call the shield hammer proof. The designers haven’t simply taken the brawn into account though, the Rhino shield is extremely clever in the way it actively improves user experience.
Users of Rhino Shield can enjoy:
  • Smooth touchscreen functionality – No stickiness that hinders the function of the touchscreen. Fingers will glide across the screen ultra-thin 0.29 mm cover as if it isn’t there at all.
  • Impressively hard exterior – The hardness of the cover is H3 which will protect screens against keys, coins, nails pens and plenty of other pesky objects.
  • Smudge free screen – Not only does the Rhino shield protect against impact and scratches, the custom formulated polymer actually repels different oils which means no finger prints or smudges.
Backed By Thousands
The Rhino Shield project was taken to Kickstarter in order for developers to get the financial backing they needed to make the shield a reality. The concept was so popular that during the 30 day campaign, 3674 backers managed to surpass the £50,000 goal and raise £73,716 in total.

Available Now
Since the end of the crowd funding campaign in April, developers have worked hard to bring the Rhino Shield to the public and now users can finally experience what may be the ultimate form of screen protection for smart devices.

Shields can be bought from $29 – $40 depending on the type of device. Exact sizes will be supplied as the name of the particular model is required while ordering.

Facebook got 56 M users in Arab States!!!

Facebook says 56 million ‘like’ it in Arab world

                                                                                                                                                   (Dubai news)

Facebook announced Tuesday that it has 56 million active users in the Middle East and North Africa, where activists used the social media network to organise Arab Spring uprisings.
Half of these users returned to the website on a daily basis, Facebook regional chief Jonathan Labin told a news conference in Dubai, noting a significant increase in the number of people connecting from mobile devices.
"Every month, 56 million people are active on Facebook across the MENA region, with 50 percent of those returning on a daily basis," Facebook said in a statement.
In total, "33 million people in MENA use a phone or tablet to access the service every month, while the number of daily active users on mobile has reached 15 million.
"People in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council countries) are particularly well-connected with a mobile connectivity rate of 196 percent -- an average of two SIM cards per person," the US company added.
According to Labin, this increase in Facebook users offers great opportunities for advertisers.
"We are seeing an increase in the number of advertisers who are turning to Facebook to get their message to the people who matter most," he said.
Facebook's mobile advertising revenues have leaped from zero percent in the first half of 2012 to 41 percent of total advertising revenues in the second quarter of 2013.
In May 2012, Facebook announced the opening in Dubai of its sales office for the Middle East and North Africa, naming Dubai's Emirates Airlines and Doha-based Al-Jazeera television among its advertising clients.
Activists in several Arab world countries have used Facebook and other Internet social networking sites as a speedy, anonymous and efficient engine to organise protests and campaigns that swept the region since 2011.
